My first Jack-o-Lantern!

I just noticed that in a blog post yesterday, I erroneously said that the Heartbeat is below the Digsby module at the top of the front page. Digsby's actually at the bottom of the front page, so Heartbeat is just at the top of the page, nowhere near Digsby. Ignore the Digsby comment.

Anyway, I'm sure there was as point to this... oh, yeah! Pumpkins!

I had great fun today, carving a Jack-o-Lantern, my first ever, and then making a pumpkin pie, which by the way is absolutely lovely. Incredibly sweet and with nice crunchy pastry. I wish they sold pumpkins all year round.

We only had one lot of trick-or-treaters, who we ignored, so that was good. No more expected tonight as it's after 10pm. We're watching Weird Science. Nice to see that horny teenage boys in Shermer, IL are happy to have their sex slaves with some intelligence.

Less than two hours now until kick-off of NaNoWriMo. I'm not going to write what I'd planned, and I have no idea what I will write. I guess I'm winging it again. It happened last year too.

Speaking of NaNoWriMo, the widgets still aren't working. It has something to do with the NaNoWriMo API, and the fact that very few people will have started writing yet. Actually, half the world will have started writing by now, but anyway, the widgets aren't working. At the time of writing anyway.
