Word Count
- A simple word count, to show you how many words you've written, but without all the bells and whistles of line count, character count, page count etc. Who uses them anyway?
-
Last Edit
- An interesting feature I don't recall seeing before in a text app. Through an interesting little piece of code, I present you with 'Last Edit'. It basically tells you when you last wrote anything in the current writing session. Great for spurring you on when you can't be bothered to write, but not in a Write Or Die sort of way.

Date and time
- I don't know why you'd want the date and time in your app, when there's most likely going to be a clock/calendar at your disposal anyway, but it's there just in case you need it.

Small and unobtrusive
- Great things come in small packages, and NuNo is no exception. At only 132KB you could keep ten copies of it on a floppy disk. I don't know why you'd want to, but you could if you liked. It also requires no installation, so you can keep it on a flash drive and take it with you. Yay!
