Ok, so first off, I finished NaNoWriMo as a winner, third year running. Overshot last year's total by about 50k. Hmm, may have tried a bit too hard this year. Will tone it down next November.

Anyway, I haven't updated the site for a couple of weeks, so I thought I'd install a new theme, make the place look a bit pretty and festive, but after putting the new theme on the site, I found that Chrome didn't like the offset at the top of the theme. Don't know why. Opera seems to like it.

Ah well, I'm sure I'll work something out at some point.

Put up some of the Christmas decorations yesterday. Got the tree up, and three ceiling garland thingies. The colour scheme went out of the window mostly. We have a red and gold baubled tree, which was going to be pink and gold, but when we went to go and buy the decorations, they didn't have any pink. They hardly had any ceiling decorations in Poundstretcher, and Tesco had none at all. I did get a Stiggy Bank, and managed to find some candy canes for the kids - they're pepperminty!

Ah, well. I'm hungry, and I've only had a scotch egg since I got up, so I'll see y'all later!
